Class on François Laruelle

I’m organizing a class by Alex Galloway at the Public School New York. Continuing our work with him from There is nothing less than the act of fleeing (2009), French Philosophy Today (2010) and Dark Nights of the Universe (2012), this will be another exciting event. With a flurry of new translations in recent years, François Laruelle is being read more widely in the English speaking world. This class will begin with an overview of Laruelle and his project of non-philosophy, followed by three sessions that explore Laruelle’s influence on theories of digitality, art, and ethics.
