I went to give a workshop at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. I think Penn Station is the most depressing architecture in New York City. The trip from Penn to New Brunswick inspired me to sketch few strips of comic. I was complaining it on the Modernism to E roon, who teaches there and got me connected, he said ‘you will experience the buttocks of Modernism’. Indeed I did enjoy post-industrial, possibly post neo liberal landscape of the meadowlands, and made few sketches about hipsters considering leaving hometown.
Anyhow.
I did a short lecture on electronics and my work., followed by more time with hands on exercise. The student group was very small (about four) so it was very easy to lead the workshop.
Donut switch.
A noisy roommate?
Not sure why its called Mom, but I do like the drawing.
This is the video of final performance. The instruction was to have solo for a minute each, duo for a minute each and four person jam for a minute. It was fun!
Yeah!
